The Moss Beach area is nestled along Highway 1 where you can enjoy the tide pools of the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve with more coastal recreation as you hike & bike the rolling hillsides or coastside trails, surfing at Surfers Beach and dine & shop at Pillar Point Harbor. Purchase fresh fish and crabs right off the fishermens boats at the harbor or rent a paddle board or kayak and explore the harbor.
Downtown Halfmoon Bay is only minutes south where you'll find more shopping and dining and is home to the annual Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival. Watch small planes touch down and take off at the nearby Half Moon Bay Airport, also home to the annual Dream Machines classic car show.
Change it up, take a day trip to Santa Cruz where you'll find the fun Beach Board Walk with carnival rides, food and shopping only a 50 minute drive or go 15 minutes north to Pacifica where you'll find coastside dining surfing and hiking and Pacifica is home to the annual Pacific Coast Fog Fest. Or many go a little further north to cultural rich San Francisco only a 35 minute drive.
Either way you'll find plenty to keep your lifestyle busy. Start enjoying the coastal lifestyle.
